Take Two: Testing the DVI inputsAs far as I could determine, the Outlaw 990's DVI outputs are transparent. With a 720p signal from my AccuPel HDG-3000 signal generator, the multiburst test patterns remained strong out to the generator's limit of 37.1MHz—the same result I obtained with a direct connection from the generator to the projector. (720p is the HD resolution at which the Yamaha DPX-1200 projector produces its flattest response.) Nor did I see any visible degradation with regular program material in either high definition or standard definition.
