Well, I guess I can say I survived the Jonas Brothers, but I can't say I was that impressed. I have a 13-year-old daughter, and I had to bribe her to watch it with me. Unfortunately, within the first few minutes, she remembered that she forgot to pick up the dog droppings and never returned—ouch!

The AVC 1080p encode is decent, but not the best I've seen from Disney by a long shot. I didn't much care for the 3D version due to the uncomfortable cardboard glasses, so I spent the majority of my viewing time in 2D. As far as concerts go, it looks okay with the flashing lights, ample colors, and the detail in the crowd. Black levels are decent and provide a nice depth and dimension, but I wouldn't place this disc near the top of my demo pile.

The DTS-HD MA 7.1 soundtrack is very good, especially during the concert footage. Backstage, the audio is slightly muffled and not as impressive, but I doubt most of the target demographic cares—it's the music that counts. As expected, the experience places you right in the middle of the crowd, with amble bass and the screams of thousands of teenagers emanating from the surround speakers.

The 3-disc set includes the Blu-ray, a DVD (2D version only), and a digital copy. Supplements on the Blu-ray have a couple of bonus songs, a 15-minute featurette on the Jonas Brothers, and of course, four pairs of 3D glasses.

Every now and then, I'll review a movie or concert that surprises me, but unfortunately this isn't one of them. The Jonas Brothers certainly have some talent, but I wouldn't say their music is groundbreaking, and I'm certainly not a fan of the 3D experience. Recommended only if you have kids who like the band.
