Into 4 ohms, the amplifier reaches 0.1% distortion at 279.4 watts and 1% distortion at 339.2 watts. With five channels driven continuously into 8-ohm loads, the AVR reaches 0.1% distortion at 146.1 watts and 1% distortion at 184.6 watts. With seven channels driven continuously into 8-ohm loads it reaches 0.1% distortion at 141.2 watts and 1% distortion at 169.3 watts. Driving seven channels into 8-ohm loads, the manufacturer’s stated distortion of 0.05% is reached at 133.2 watts, which is fairly close to the stated power rating of 150 watts under these conditions.
